Being Aware

The reason why most youth get involved in the world of drugs is because they see their friends do them or they think doing narcotics will help them have more friends. Doing drugs is not cool. It negatively affects lives later on in life. People think that, "oh getting addicted won't happen to me", but getting involved in drugs makes those chances higher.

Peer pressure is something that you can not let happen to you. Peer pressure is when someone you are close to or maybe acquaintances with pressures you to do something you do not want to. Most cases, people peer pressure teens to do drugs. Your friend might do drugs and tell you that they will no longer be your friend if you do drugs.

Even if that is the case, do not chance it. The risk is not worth it. If you want to go somewhere in life, have a good job, and do great things, drugs are the last thing that should be on you mind.

Here at The Hidden Truth we want to let the adolescence know that doing drugs will not boost your popularity, but can decrease your health. Here are some tips on how to be drug aware, wherever you are.
